We are excited to participate in EuroTier 2024, the leading international trade fair for animal farming and innovations in the agricultural sector. This year, we will showcase our cutting-edge nutritional specialties, addressing key challenges that livestock farmers face today.
We are focusing on two main areas:
Red mites control in poultry: Red mites are a serious issue in poultry farming, affecting both the comfort of hens and the profitability of farms. It’s estimated that 83% of farms in Europe are infested with red mites! These parasites can lead to a decreased laying rate, aggressive behavior among animals, and downgraded eggs, severely impacting farm productivity.
To combat this, we offer our Acari® programs, tailored to the level of infestation in each farm. This customized program combines nutritional and environmental products, alongside a digital tool that monitors mite infestations and provides personalized advice. With Acari®, farmers can contribute to manage the risk posed by red mites and protect their flocks.
Digestive comfort for poultry and pigs: digestive disorders in livestock, especially poultry and pigs, are another critical challenge that can impact animal performance and growth. When digestive imbalance arises, it’s crucial to act quickly to secure animal comfort and productivity.
We will be presenting Securitor®, a solution that blends our expertise in animal nutrition with phytotherapy. Designed for use in various livestock contexts—including those aiming to reduce medication and antibiotics—Securitor® is a fast-acting solution when diluted in water. It allows farmers to support performances of their animals in case of digestive issues.
